# Ask your assistant about your numbers.

> https://meetkeely.com/connect · Updated 2026-10-01 · Keely, by Metrica Fit LLC

**Keely works in any assistant that takes MCP connectors.** Add it once with the address `https://meetkeely.com/mcp` and sign in with your Keely account. Then ask “How did I recover this week?” or “What was my HRV on the 19th?”. It reads your daily numbers, never changes them, and never sees your raw heart data, which stays on your iPhone.

- **Address:** `https://meetkeely.com/mcp`
- **Sign-in:** The email on your Keely account, and a 6-digit code
- **What it reads:** Recovery, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, stress, Load and workouts
- **What it can’t do:** Change your numbers, or see raw heart data
- **Disconnect:** Any time, at [meetkeely.com/assistants](https://meetkeely.com/assistants)

Choose yours: [Claude](https://meetkeely.com/connect#claude) · [ChatGPT](https://meetkeely.com/connect#chatgpt) · [Claude Code](https://meetkeely.com/connect#claude-code) · [Cursor, VS Code and other apps](https://meetkeely.com/connect#other-apps)

## Claude

On claude.ai, in the Claude desktop app or on your phone. Every plan can add custom connectors; on the Free plan, one.

1. **Open your connectors.** Go to Customize › Connectors.
2. **Add a custom connector.** Click Add custom connector, name it Keely, and enter `https://meetkeely.com/mcp`.
3. **If Claude asks how to sign in,** choose Sign in now, and for the OAuth client, Register automatically.
4. **Add it, then connect.** Click Add, then Connect. Claude opens meetkeely.com.
5. **Sign in and allow.** Enter the email on your Keely account and the code we send, check what Claude will be able to read, and choose Allow.
6. **Use it in a chat.** Click + in the chat, open Connectors, and make sure Keely is on.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds Keely first, under Organization settings › Connectors. Then each person connects under Customize › Connectors, where it shows with the Custom label.

## ChatGPT

ChatGPT takes MCP connectors in developer mode: on the web, on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. OpenAI calls developer mode powerful but risky, because connectors there can also change things. Keely’s reads your numbers and never changes them.

1. **Turn on developer mode.** In ChatGPT, go to Settings › Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
2. **Create the app.** Open ChatGPT Plugins, select the plus button, name it Keely, and enter `https://meetkeely.com/mcp`.
3. **Choose OAuth to sign in,** with dynamic client registration if ChatGPT asks how to register.
4. **Sign in and allow.** On meetkeely.com, enter the email on your Keely account and the code we send, then choose Allow.
5. **Use it in a chat.** Choose Developer mode from the + menu in the composer, and select Keely.

## Claude Code

Add Keely for every project with one command, then sign in from inside Claude Code:

```
claude mcp add --transport http keely --scope user https://meetkeely.com/mcp
```

In Claude Code, type `/mcp`, choose keely, and follow the sign-in in your browser.

## Other apps

Other apps that take remote MCP servers, such as Cursor and VS Code, connect the same way, as long as they support sign-in with OAuth and dynamic client registration. Add a remote server, also called HTTP or Streamable HTTP, with the address `https://meetkeely.com/mcp`, and sign in with your Keely account when the app asks. In Cursor’s `mcp.json`, for example:

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "keely": { "url": "https://meetkeely.com/mcp" }
  }
}
```

Keely has no API key to paste: you sign in, and you can disconnect at any time.

## What you can ask

- “How did I recover this week, and what held it back?”
- “What was my HRV on the 19th, against my normal?”
- “Compare my sleep on training days and rest days this month.”
- “How is Recovery calculated?”

Answers come from your daily summaries, with Keely’s own explanations, so the numbers match the app. Where your assistant shows them, Keely also offers two ready-made prompts: a morning check-in and a weekly review.

## Disconnecting

Sign in at [meetkeely.com/assistants](https://meetkeely.com/assistants) to see every assistant that can read your Keely data, and disconnect any of them. Access ends at once. Removing the connector in the assistant stops it from asking.

### Does Keely cost anything to connect?

No. The connector is free, like Keely. Some assistants need a paid plan for custom connectors or developer mode.

### What can my assistant see?

Your daily summaries: Recovery and what moved it, HRV, resting heart rate, breathing and skin temperature, sleep, Load and workouts, and stress. It can’t see raw heart data, which never leaves your iPhone, and it can’t change your numbers.

### Who handles what my assistant reads?

Its provider, under its own terms. Keely’s side is in [our Privacy Policy](https://meetkeely.com/privacy), under Connected assistants.

### It says sign-in failed. What now?

Check that the email is the one on your Keely account: meetkeely.com signs you in, but accounts are made in the app. In Claude, if you chose Use Claude’s published identity, remove the connector and add it again with Register automatically.

> Menus change. The steps for Claude and ChatGPT follow Anthropic’s [custom connectors guide](https://claude.com/docs/connectors/custom/remote-mcp) and OpenAI’s [developer mode guide](https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/developer-mode), as of 1 October 2026. Keely isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic, OpenAI or any other assistant’s maker.

- [Methodology](https://meetkeely.com/methodology): How Keely computes Recovery, Load, Stress and Sleep from your Polar Loop: every input, weight and constant, published so that each number can be checked.
- [Recovery](https://meetkeely.com/recovery): Keely’s Recovery is a 0–100 % score each morning: last night’s HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, breathing and skin temperature against your own normal.
- [Polar Loop](https://meetkeely.com/polar-loop): Keely is a free iPhone app for the Polar Loop. It connects over Bluetooth and turns the band’s data into Recovery, Load, Stress and Sleep, every formula public.
